Unfortuately I was not happy with the Potty Patch at all. I was very excited when I recieved it because I thought it would put an end to the disposable piddle pads … well, I’m back to using the pads and out $50. I have a small 7 pound pomeranian and by the end of the second day the Patch smelled horrendous … I didn’t realize that you need to wash it thoroughly with warm soap and water EVERY day and it STILL smells of urine. I had to throw it out after the first week. The piddle pads are much easier and do not smell because I use a fresh one daily. Something to consider before you purchase this item …

I have an 8 lb mini daschund and the potty patvh nearly cost him dearly. After nibbleing on the grass (very little ) he needed $3000.00 worth of surgery on his stomach and intestines to clear the blockage that was all the grass from the potty patch so my comment is buters beware if you have a small dog!!!!!!!
I purchased the potty patch for my dog and put it down the dog sniffed it and grabbed the grass in his teeth and took off with it. he thinks the grass is for dragging around the house. we left the pad and bottom down to see of he would use it without the grass and he just walks around it.
